SUPE 1. Supă albă, Pride and Prejudice de Jane Austen supa alba “If you mean Darcy,” cried her brother, “he may go to bed, if he chuses, before it begins—but as for the ball, it is quite a settled thing; and as soon as Nicholls has made white soup enough I shall send round my cards.” Rețeta aici   2. Supă cremoasă de castane, A Song of Ice and Fire (A Clash of Kings) de George R.R. Martin Supa de castane “Cersei set a tasty table, that could not be denied. They started with a creamy chestnut soup, crusty hot bread, and greens dressed with apples and pine nuts. Then came lamprey pie, honeyed ham, buttered carrots, white beans and bacon, and roast swan stuffed with mushrooms and oysters. Tyrion was exceedingly courteous; he offered his sister the choice portions of every dish, and made certain he ate only what she did. Not that he truly throught she’d poison him, but it never hurt to be careful.” Rețeta aici.   3. Supă franțuzească de ceapă, Harry Potter de J.K. Pui cu tarhon, Anna Karenina de Lev Tolstoy Anna Karenina “The Tartar, remembering Stepan Arkadyich’s manner of not naming dishes from the French menu, did not repeat after him, but gave himself the pleasure of repeating the entire order from the menu: ‘Soupe printanière, turbot, sauce Beaumarchais, poulard à l’estragon, macédoine de fruits…‘ and at once, as if on springs, laid aside one bound menu, picked up another, the wine list, and offered it to Stepan Arkadyich.” Rețeta aici   7. Friptura Tâlharilor, Dracula de Bram Stoker dracula-robber-steak-recipe-V2 "Robber steak- bits of bacon, onion, and beef, seasoned with red pepper, and strung on sticks, and roasted over the fire, in simple style of the London cat’s meat!" Prăjitură cu chimen și nucșoară, Jane Eyre de Charlotte Bronte seed cake “[...] she got up, unlocked a drawer, and taking from it a parcel wrapped in paper, disclosed presently to our eyes a good-sized seed-cake. ‘I meant to give each of you some of this to take with you,’ said she: ‘but as there is so little toast, you must have it now,’ and she proceeded to cut slices with a generous hand. We feasted that evening as on nectar and ambrosia; and not the least delight of the entertainment was the smile of gratification with which our hostess regarded us, as we satisfied our famished appetites on the delicate fare she liberally supplied.” Rețeta aici   10. Desert de Crăciun, A Christmas Carol de Charles Dickens CHristmas pudding ”But now, the plates being changed by Miss Belinda, Mrs Cratchit left the room alone — too nervous to bear witnesses — to take the pudding up, and bring it in. Suppose it should not be done enough! Suppose it should break in turning out! Suppose somebody should have got over the wall of the back-yard, and stolen it, while they were merry with the goose: a supposition at which the two young Cratchits became livid! All sorts of horrors were supposed.” Rețeta aici   Nu vă mai spunem că am scris acest articol pe burta goală și am suferit ca niște câini :-)!
