EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

From May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) replaces Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC, representing a significant overhaul of data protection law in the European Union. Applicable to all EU Member States, the GDPR's relevance spans not only organisations operating within the EU, but also those operating outside the EU.

Din mai 2018, Regulamentul general privind protectia datelor 2016/679 (GDPR) inlocuieste Directiva 95/46 / CE privind protectia datelor, reprezentand o revizuire semnificativa a legislatiei privind protectia datelor in Uniunea Europeana. Aplicabila tuturor statelor membre ale UE, relevanta GDPR se refera nu numai la organizatiile care opereaza in UE, ci si la cele care opereaza in afara UE.
