History and Theology in the Fourth Gospel, Revised and Expanded

This work covers a "two-level" reading of John's Gospel, creatively assessing the separation of church from synagogue at the first century's end. It aims to influence the way scholars view the relationship of ancient Jews and Christians, and how it shapes the discussion of John and its origins.

Aceasta lucrare acopera o lectura „pe doua niveluri” a Evangheliei lui Ioan, evaluand creativ separarea bisericii de sinagoga la sfarsitul primului secol. Acesta isi propune sa influenteze modul in care savantii privesc relatia dintre evreii si crestinii antici si modul in care modeleaza discutia despre Ioan si originile sale.
