“Oh, Club of Eden. I want to act in that when it becomes a movie,” the brown-haired boy
said and I looked at him. He had brown hair and blue eyes and I recognised him. He was the
world-famous actor, Ben Foxe.
“Yeah, and how are you going to get famous enough to star in a worldwide bestseller?” I
asked him as I looked at him with a smirk.
“Oh, if you look on the Internet, you would find out how.”
“I’m sorry, that wouldn’t be possible. I left my phone at home today.”
“Who leaves their phones at home nowadays.”
“Someone who doesn’t like phones bothering them every minute of every day,” I said as
door to the office opened.
“Nadira Roseberry,” the principal said and I stood up.
“Nice meeting you, Roseberry,” he said and smiled.
“You too, Foxe,” I said with a smirk as he gasped, realising that I was playing him all
along.
Nadira, a 16-year-old girl, is moving with her father to live with her new step-family. But
when she arrives, she is mistreated and blackmailed because of an eye condition that she
has, which makes her eyes appear to have two pupils each. This has also caused Nadira to
never have any true friends before in her life.
But when she begins to attend her new school, for the first time she finds a true friend – and
maybe there are more friends to be made. Together with her new friends, Nadira finds out
who she really is, who she isn’t, and who she can become…
