Introductory Semiconductor Device Physics

Offers an introduction to the underlying physics of semiconductor devices. This work begins with a review of basic solid state physics, then describes the properties of semiconductors in more detail and examines the operation principles of the Gunn Diode and p-n junction. It concludes with a chapter giving a brief introduction to quantum theory.
