Purposeful Restructuring

First published in 1992, Purposeful Restructuring (now with a new preface by the author) explores the continuous pursuit of improvement in American public education. It examines eight elementary schools deeply engaged in improvement efforts since the mid-1970s, inspired by California’s Early Childhood Education program.
