The Railway Children

Roberta is the eldest daughter of a man unjustly sent to prison, who shows great courage, and who is ultimately reunited with her father when he is vindicated and restored to his family. This book spawned the TV film starring Jenny Agutter as Roberta, and Bernard Cribbins as the railway porter.

Roberta este fiica cea mare a unui barbat trimis pe nedrept la inchisoare, care da dovada de mult curaj si care, in cele din urma, se reuneste cu tatal ei atunci cand acesta este justificat si redat familiei sale. Aceasta carte a dat nastere filmului TV cu Jenny Agutter in rolul Robertei si Bernard Cribbins in rolul portarului de cale ferata.
