The Reprieve

It is September 1938 and during a heatwave, Europe tensely awaits the outcome of the Munich conference, where they will learn if there is to be a war. In Paris, people are waiting too, among them Mathieu, Jacques and Philippe, each wrestling with their own love affairs, doubts and angsts - and none of them ready to fight.

Este septembrie 1938 si, in timpul unui val de canicula, Europa asteapta cu incordare rezultatul conferintei de la Munchen, unde vor afla daca va fi razboi. La Paris, oamenii asteapta si ei, printre care Mathieu, Jacques si Philippe, fiecare luptandu-se cu propriile aventuri amoroase, indoieli si angoase - si niciunul dintre ei nefiind pregatit sa lupte.
