Treasure Island

Stevenson's great adventure story, set in the 18th century, was conceived in the Scottish Highlands, where the author and his 12-year-old stepson amused themselves by making a map that showed the location of buried treasure on an island. The illustrations first appeared in 1949.

Marea poveste de aventuri a lui Stevenson, a carei actiune se petrece in secolul al XVIII-lea, a fost conceputa in Muntii Scotiei, unde autorul si fiul sau vitreg de 12 ani s-au amuzat realizand o harta care arata locatia unei comori ingropate pe o insula. Ilustratiile au aparut pentru prima data in 1949.
